6th Grade Tdap Vaccination

Colorado law requires students who are entering sixth grade to receive tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap) vaccine before their first day of school.

The Tdap vaccine is essential in helping protect your child and others from serious diseases, including whooping cough, which can be particularly dangerous in school settings.

What You Need to Do:

• If your child has already received the Tdap vaccine, please upload a copy of the updated immunization record on the Health Form during PowerSchool Health enrollment.
• If your child has not yet received the vaccine, please schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider as soon as possible.
• If you need assistance accessing immunization services, please contact our school health office for resources and support.

Failure to comply with this requirement may result in your child being excluded from school until documentation is provided.
